CE to attend Boao Forum annual conference in Hainan

     The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, will visit Hainan on March 27 and 28 to attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2015.

     The theme of the conference this year is "Asia's New Future: Towards a Community of Common Destiny".

     On March 27, Mr Leung will attend a discussion session, as one of the panellists, on opportunities for multinationals and the role of Hong Kong in "One Belt and One Road". In the evening on the same day, he will attend the "Global Economic Outlook 2015: A Dialogue with BFA Board of Directors" dinner reception, and meet student volunteers from Hong Kong. In the morning on March 28, Mr Leung will attend the opening plenary of the annual conference.

     Accompanying the Chief Executive at the conference will be the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Edward Yau; the Deputy Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Miss Linda So; the Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive, Mr Chan Kin-ping; and the Assistant Director (Media), Mr Anson Lai.

     Mr Leung will depart for Hainan in the morning on March 27 and return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on March 28. During Mr Leung's absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, and the Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, will be the Acting Chief Executive on March 27 and 28 respectively.
