The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (March 24) that all public libraries will be closed on Good Friday (April 3), while Students' Study Rooms will be open from 8am to 9.30pm.
Apart from individual libraries' closing days, public library opening hours on the day following Good Friday (April 4), the day following Ching Ming Festival (April 6) and the day following Easter Monday (April 7) will be the same as on other public holidays.
Library mobile app services, Internet and telephone renewal, and other online library services including the library catalogue, borrowers' record enquiries, reservation of library materials and Internet and Digital Service Workstations, Multimedia Information System (MMIS) and electronic resources (e-books and online databases), will be suspended from 9pm on April 2 to 8am on April 4.
