The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
A briefing-cum-luncheon between the Legislative Council (LegCo) Members and the Consuls-General in Hong Kong (CGs) as well as members of the Association of Honorary Consuls in Hong Kong and Macau SAR, China (AHC members) was held today (March 23) in the LegCo Complex, providing an opportunity for them to exchange views on the work of LegCo and issues of mutual concern.
President of LegCo, Mr Jasper Tsang, conducted a briefing for the attending CGs and AHC members on the work of LegCo before the luncheon hosted by him.
The luncheon was attended by Ms Emily Lau, Mr Tam Yiu-chung, Mr Vincent Fang, Mr Andrew Leung, Mr Paul Tse, Mr Alan Leong, Mr Ng Leung-sing, Mr Ma Fung-kwok, Mr Charles Mok, Mr Kenneth Leung, Mr Sin Chung-kai, Dr Helena Wong, Mr Ip Kin-yuen and Dr Elizabeth Quat. Twenty-three CGs or their representatives and eight Honorary Consuls attended the briefing and luncheon.
