Tenders invited for advertising area licences and shop tenancies

     The Government Property Agency is inviting tenders for a licence for the advertising area on the external wall of City Hall Multi-storey Carpark Building at No. 1 Edinburgh Place, Central; a licence for the advertising areas on the external walls of Rumsey Street Multi-storey Car Park Building at No. 2 Rumsey Street, Sheung Wan; and two separate tenancies of the government properties at (i) Shop No. 2 and (ii) Shop No. 3 in the Restricted Area on the Departure Level of the China Ferry Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui.

     The property in Central and Sheung Wan should be used for the purpose of installation, operation, management, maintenance and control of the Advertising Display Systems only, while the properties in Tsim Sha Tsui should be used for general retail purposes (excluding storage, sale, display or distribution of duty-free goods, perfume and cosmetics) only.

     The tender notices were gazetted today (March 20). Tender documents are available for collection at the Government Property Agency, 31/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, during office hours (8.30am to 5.45pm from Mondays to Fridays). The documents can also be downloaded from the Agency's website: www.gpa.gov.hk.¡@
 
     Interested tenderers who wish to inspect the sites should make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency by calling 2594 7697 on or before April 8 this year for the property in Central and on or before April 2 this year for the property in Sheung Wan. Interested tenderers who wish to inspect the site in Tsim Sha Tsui should make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency by calling 2594 7715 on or before April 8 this year.

     Tenderers must submit their tenders by placing them in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box at the ground floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong, before noon on April 17 this year for the properties in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui and before noon on April 16 this year for the property in Sheung Wan. Late tenders will not be accepted.
