The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, today (March 17) continued his visit to Moscow, Russia.
In the morning, Mr So met the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, Ms Natalya Sergunina, to exchange views on economic co-operation between Hong Kong and Moscow.
He then had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Mr Stanislav Voskresensky, to discuss issues relating to economic and trade relations between Hong Kong and Russia.
He also met members of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Ms Tatyana Valovaya and Mr Andrey Slepnev, to forge co-operation between Hong Kong and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The EEC is the executive body of EEU.
Mr So will meet the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Mr Sergey Katyrin, later in the day to encourage Russian companies to set up in Hong Kong.
