The spokesperson for Kowloon East Cluster (KEC) today (March 16) announced that Kwun Tong Jockey Club Health Centre General Out-patient Clinic at 457 Kwun Tong Road would be relocated to the new Kwun Tong Community Health Centre at Upper Ground Floor, 60 Hip Wo Street, Kwun Tong) from next Monday (March 23), and will continue to provide primary healthcare services for the patients.
According to the spokesperson, the relocation and expansion of the Kwun Tong Jockey Club Health Centre General Out-patient Clinic was facilitated by the Kwun Tong District redevelopment project with a view to coping with service developments. Improvements in facilities, environment and workflow are aimed at enhancing the provision of appropriate healthcare services to patients.
The Kwun Tong Jockey Club Health Centre General Out-patient Clinic will provide services as usual until 1pm on March 22 (Sunday). Upon relocation, services will be provided at the Kwun Tong Community Health Centre with the same service hours (details are appended). "The KEC has already informed residents in the district on the service arrangement through various channels including poster notices, information leaflets, and briefings to respective District Councillors. A reminder message will also be added to the telephone appointment system," the spokesperson added.
