The Government today (March 13) announced the re-appointments of the chairperson and nine incumbent non-official members to the Communications Authority (CA) for a term of two years from April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2017.
Membership of the CA will be as follows:

Speaking on the appointments, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, said, "Under the able leadership of Mr Ho and the dedicated support of all the members, the CA has functioned smoothly since the transition from the previous regulatory regimes to the existing CA framework in April 2012.
"I am grateful to the Chairman and members for their continued services and support."
The CA is an independent statutory body established under the Communications Authority Ordinance (Cap. 616) on April 1, 2012. It is a unified regulatory body overseeing the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors.
