Proposal to install lifts at Wan Chai footbridge gazetted

     The Government published in the Gazette today (March 6) the proposed installation of lifts at the footbridge (No. HF145) near Fenwick Street in Wan Chai. The works are part of the Universal Accessibility Programme.

     The suggested works are set out in the Annex. The plan and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

Public Enquiry Service Centre,

99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong

Wan Chai District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before May 5, 2015.
