Fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom this morning (March 2) in which a 34-year-old man was killed.
 
     About 11.23am, a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 59-year-old man was travelling along westbound Chung Hau Street. When approaching Good Shepherd Street, it reportedly knocked down the 34-year-old man who was crossing the road.
 
     Sustaining serious injuries to his head, the 34-year-old man was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital in unconscious state where he was certified dead at 4.31pm.
 
     The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm right after the accident. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries and is required to report back to Police in late March.
 
     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are underway.
