The Town Planning Board today (February 27) announced amendments to the approved Tseung Kwan O Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of a site to the east of Wan Po Road at Tseung Kwan O Area 85 from "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Sewage Treatment Works" to "Government, Institution or Community (9)" to facilitate a proposed data centre development.
The draft Tseung Kwan O OZP No. S/TKO/21, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Sai Kung and Islands District Planning Office and the Sai Kung District Office.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before April 27. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Tseung Kwan O OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
