Tin Shui Wai No. 3 alarm fire roundup

     A fire broke out at Tin Sum Sun Chuen, Tin Shui Wai at 9.14pm yesterday (February 25), and was upgraded to a No.3 alarm at 9.32pm. The fire was surrounded at 10.28pm and was largely put out at 10.52pm.

     It mainly involved a two-storey tin-sheeted structure, about 40 metres by 40 metres, which was severely damaged.

     Firemen used six jets and mobilised six breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze. About 100 people were self-evacuated and 50 more were evacuated by firemen to place of safety.

     There was one woman feeling unwell in the fire.
