Police are investigating a murder and suicide case in Ngau Tau Kok today (February 23) in which a 68-year-old man and his one-year-old grandson died.
At about 12.45 pm, Police received report that a man and a boy fell from height at Choi Yee House, Choi Tak Estate. Police officers sped to the scene and found the 68-year-old man and his one-year-old grandson lying unconscious on the podium and on the ground outside the building respectively. They were rushed to United Christian Hospital and were certified dead at 1.34pm and 1.32pm respectively.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted to ascertain the cause of their death.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Sau Mau Ping District are underway.
