CP attends 23rd Bilateral Meeting between Mainland Public Security Authorities and HKPF

    The Commissioner of Police, Mr Tsang Wai-hung, led a seven-member delegation to Beijing on February 12 to attend the 23rd Bilateral Meeting between the Mainland Public Security Authorities and Hong Kong Police Force.

    During the annual Bilateral Meeting, both sides have exchanged their views on issues of mutual concern, including administration of law and order, boundary control, criminal investigation, Internet security, cross-boundary crimes, anti-narcotics, counter-terrorism, police liaison and training.

    During the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on the State Councillor and Minister of Public Security, Mr Guo Shengkun. In the bilateral meeting, the Mainland delegation was headed by the Vice Minister of Public Security, Mr Chen Zhimin, with delegates comprising heads of various bureaux under the Ministry of Public Security. As for the Hong Kong delegation, it comprised officers in charge of criminal and operational matters.

   The delegation has returned to Hong Kong tonight.
