Police will implement the following special traffic arrangements on February 15 (Sunday) to facilitate the holding of "2015 Duathlon Series" in Tai Po.
A. Road closure
Fo Yin Road between Chong San Road and Fo Hing Street will be closed from 4am to noon, and Chong San Road between Fo Shing Road and Science Park Road will be closed from 6am to noon.
B. Traffic diversion
During the road closure period, traffic along northbound Science Park Road heading towards Chong San Road will be diverted via roundabout near Science Park West Avenue, southbound Science Park Road, roundabout and westbound Chak Cheung Street, then enter northbound Tolo Highway via roundabout and slip road, enter westbound Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai via slip road, enter eastbound Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai via roundabout, enter southbound Tolo Highway via slip road, and head to southbound Chong San Road via slip road and roundabout.
Traffic along southbound Chong San Road heading towards Science Park Road will be diverted via Fo Shing Road, northbound Chong San Road, roundabout, slip road and southbound Tolo Highway, then enter northbound Science Park Road via slip road and roundabout near Chak Cheung Street.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
