In response to media enquiries today (February 12), a Central Policy Unit (CPU) spokesman said that the CPU, including full-time member Ms Sophia Kao, had not taken the initiative to contact members of the Council of the University of Hong Kong to lobby, intervene, or put pressure on them in respect of the appointment of the University's Vice-President.
