Police are investigating a traffic accident in Kwun Tong this evening (February 10) in which a 52-year-old man was killed.
At about 6.42pm, a 52-year-old man was travelling on a motorcycle along Lei Yue Mun Road towards Yau Tong. Following the motorcycle was a Public Light Bus (PLB) driven by another 52-year-old man. When reaching Lei Yue Mun Road near Tseung Kwan O Road, the PLB reportedly rammed to the motorcycle.
Sustaining serious head and neck injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to the United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at 7.05pm.
The PLB driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death. He is now being detained.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East, are underway.
