Police today (February 6) charged two men and one woman, aged between 30 and 60, each with one count of manslaughter. They will appear in Eastern Magistrates’ Court for mention this afternoon.
After seeking legal advice, officers of Regional Crime Unit of Hong Kong Island arrested the three persons this morning in Kowloon City, Ma On Shan and Tsim Sha Tsui respectively, in connection with a case involving a beauty treatment centre in Wan Chai in October 2012.
From September 29 to October 3, 2012, four women aged between 46 and 60, felt sick after receiving treatment in the beauty treatment centre and were admitted to the hospitals. A 46-year-old woman was subsequently certified dead on October 10, 2012.
