SHA extends early Lunar New Year greetings to Professor Jao Tsung-i (with photos)

     The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, visited the Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole of the University of Hong Kong today (February 6) to extend his early Lunar New Year greetings to Professor Jao Tsung-i, the great master of Chinese studies, and send greetings to Professor Jao on behalf of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government.

     Mr Tsang said, "As the Lunar New Year is round the corner, the HKSAR Government hopes, with its heartfelt wishes, that Professor Jao would continue to lead us forward in the world of Chinese culture and arts. We also wish Professor Jao good health and excellence in the future."

     Mr Tsang also attended the opening tea reception of the exhibition "The Vitality of the Year of Horse - Selected Works of Professor Jao Tsung-I". Together with Professor Jao, Mr Tsang viewed the lotus paintings created by Professor Jao last year. The exhibition will be held from February 9 to 27 at the Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole of the University of Hong Kong.
