Government proposes to install lift at Kwun Tong footbridge

     The Government's plan to construct a lift at the footbridge (No. KF90) across Lei Yue Mun Road near Tsui Ping Road in Kwun Tong was gazetted today (February 6). The works are part of the Universal Accessibility Programme.

     Details of the proposal are set out in the Annex. The plan and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

Central and Western District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,

99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong

Kwun Tong District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,

     The gazette notice and location plan will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm .

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before April 7, 2015.
