Members of the Legislative Council (LegCo) held a meeting today (February 5) with Heung Yee Kuk Councillors in Conference Room 1 of the LegCo Complex.
LegCo Members and Heung Yee Kuk Councillors hold meetings regularly to discuss and exchange views on matters of mutual interest. At today's meeting, they discussed amendments to existing laws on adverse possession of lands and a number of matters in relation to the New Territories, namely issues relating to planning and development of lands, capital projects on strategic landfills and incinerator, development of villages, and new development plans.
The meeting was convened by the Chairman of the LegCo House Committee, Mr Andrew Leung, and attended by Mr Tam Yiu-chung, Mr Abraham Shek, Mr Tommy Cheung, Mr Jeffrey Lam, Mr Chan Kin-por, Mr Ip Kwok-him, Mr Paul Tse, Mr Alan Leong, Mr Michael Tien, Mr Ng Leung-sing, Mr Yiu Si-wing, Mr Ma Fung-kwok, Ms Chan Yuen-han, Mr Leung Che-cheung, Dr Elizabeth Quat, Mr Martin Liao, Dr Lo Wai-kwok and Mr Tony Tse.
