Jumbo Kids Theatre was founded in 1999 by a group of theatre practitioners and educators who possess substantial experience in performing and programme planning. It displays enthusiasm and perseverance in producing educational and high-quality children's theatre programmes. Other than bringing children enjoyment, it also aims at enriching children's lives through drama performance as well as letting adults rediscover an innocence that has been forgotten for a long time.

By using original half-mask performances, it established the "Miss Toasty and her Classmates Series". Recently, it has also created the "Children Literature Series" to cultivate the reading habits of the next generation, to enrich their cultural lives and foster a quality audience for the future.

Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis).
