The first performance will be "Win at the Starting Line" by Jumbo Kids Theatre. The story is about an aggressive girl, Keikei. After receiving an unsatisfactory test result, Keikei runs straight to a nearby hill, where she meets an old man with all sorts of medals and awards. Hairy the little macaque and many other wild animals live in beautiful thick woodland. However, they are disturbed by illegal feeding, rubbish and noise produced by humans. The ecosystem is being destroyed. Can Hairy and his buddies stay alive in this environment? The production will be performed in Cantonese, and details are as follows:

Windmill Theatre from Australia will perform a story-time theatre work entitled "Grug", for children aged 2 to 6, that is based on a much loved picture book character created by Ted Prior. Grug, who looks like a small, striped haystack with feet and a nose, began life as the top of an Australian burrawang tree that fell to the ground. He finds the world around him fascinating, and he devises creative solutions to everyday problems without fuss. The show will be performed in English, with simple Cantonese interpretation in some performances, and details are as follows:

Cultural Activities Hall, Sha Tin Town Hall

The final performance of the "Miracle Fun" Series will be "Fulanos" by the Argentine Compañía La Arena. Presenting a series of humorous scenes about daily life, this production offers an explosive and contagious energy that exhilarates both the body and the mind. With nothing to hold on to but six ladders, the members will put the ladders to use in countless ways, constantly changing their purpose and the spatial design, as the characters in "Fulanos" interact physically and take the audience on a journey through different moods. The performances will have limited English dialogue with Chinese and English subtitles. Details are as follows:

Theatre, Sheung Wan Civic Centre
April 17 to 19 (Friday to Sunday)
