Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the competition will be held on March 20 at Victoria Park.

The competition for the primary school categories will be held from 9am to noon, while the competition for the secondary school categories will be held from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

The competition will feature students' drawings of exquisite flowers, rare plants and unique garden displays in the showground with a view to enhancing awareness of conserving plants and the natural environment.

The theme of this year's drawing competition is "When Blossoms Dance". Participants may draw or paint any floral exhibits or garden displays in the showground to illustrate the theme.

Each category will have a champion, first runner-up and second runner-up, as well as 10 highly commended and 15 certificate of merit winners.

Winning entries of the champions, the first and second runners-up and those highly commended will be exhibited in the showground at Victoria Park from March 21 to 29. All winning entries will then be displayed at the Kowloon Park Arcade and will also be available for viewing on the LCSD webpage in May.
