Town planners map out future

Hong Kong's population continues to grow but land is limited. Town planners are instrumental in making the best use of the city's limited land resources while meeting residents' requirements for housing, shopping and transport facilities.
News.gov.hk spoke with two planners who revealed how they map out future towns to strike a balance between meeting people's needs and protecting the local ecology.
