Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun at noon today (January 10) in which a 57-year-old man was killed.
At about 12.45pm, when a taxi driven by the 57-year-old man was exiting a petrol station on Fuk Hang Tsuen Road near Lam Tei, it reportedly rammed into a flower bed and then reversed. After the taxi stopped, staff of the petrol station found the driver collapsed inside the compartment.
The driver was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 13.44pm.
The case will be handed over to the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
