Proposed lift installation at Mong Kok footbridge gazetted

     The Government gazetted today (January 2) the proposed installation of two lifts at the footbridge (No. KF89) across Ferry Street near Dundas Street in Mong Kok.

     The proposed works, which are part of the Universal Accessibility Programme, are set out in the Annex. The plan and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

Central and Western District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,
Unit 5, G/F, The Center,
99 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong

Yau Tsim Mong District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,
G/F, Mong Kok Government Offices,
30 Luen Wan Street,
Mong Kok, Kowloon.

District Lands Office,
Kowloon East and Kowloon West,
10/F, Yau Ma Tei Carpark Building,
250 Shanghai Street, Kowloon

     The gazette notice and location plan will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm .

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before March 3, 2015.
