Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sha Tin this (January 1) afternoon in which a 20-year-old man died.
About 4.15pm, a motorcycle driven by the 20-year-old man was travelling along Sui Wo Road towards Sha Tin. When reaching near Sui Wo Court, it reportedly lost control and rammed into an iron pole at the roadside.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state where he was certified dead at 4.47pm.
Investigations will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South.
