The Police will implement special traffic arrangements in Kwai Fong on December 31 (Wednesday) to help facilitate the holding of New Yearˇ¦s Eve Carnival.
From 10.30am to 6pm:
- Westbound carriageway of Hing Ning Road outside the forecourt of Metroplaza (about 60 metres) will be closed. One-lane-two-way traffic will be maintained.
From 6pm on December 31, 2014 to 1.30am on January 1, 2015:
- A section of Hing Ning Road between Kwai Yan Road and Metroplaza car park entrance, and eastbound Kwai Yan Road slip road leading from Kwai Yi Road to Hing Ning Road will be closed;
- Traffic along westbound Hing Fong Road heading for Kwai Yan Road via Hing Ning Road will be diverted to Kwai Foo Road and Kwai Yan Road; and
- Traffic along westbound Kwai Yan Road heading for Hing Fong Road via Hing Ning Road will be diverted to Kwai Yi Road, Kwai Foo Road and Hing Fong Road.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic conditions in the area. Police appeal to motorists to drive with utmost care and patience, and to follow Police instructions at scene.
