"Multi-Media-Motion Series" to offer cutting-edge programmes by young artists
************************************************************

Talented young local artists will stage two cutting-edge programmes, "Landscape of Ozu" and "Absent Presentee", in the "Multi-Media-Motion Series" presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department in January and March next year respectively.

Local multimedia artist Adrian Yeung will direct the cinematic theatre production "Landscape of Ozu", focusing on the theme of family which the late renowned Japanese film director Yasujiro Ozu spent a lifetime exploring. The show sets off from the perspective and aesthetics of Ozu, intertwining cinematic and theatrical approaches of storytelling to create an imaginary collaboration and dialogue with him.

Adrian Yeung is a multimedia designer. Since 2007, he has participated in over 40 productions, including drama, dance and music performances. In 2012, he began to explore new technologies in multimedia theatre production. His works include "Antonioni Conjecture", "Chris and Stephanie" and "(No)rwegian Wood".

Littlebreath Creative Workshop will produce "Absent Presentee" for which young artist Chan Kwun-yee is the director and playwright. With multimedia installation, live music and dance, the production depicts a silent realm filling up with noise.

Littlebreath Creative Workshop was founded in 2009. Most of its works are interdisciplinary and experimental, exploring and questioning our times with bodily movements. Previous works included "Tides In Limbo", "448 Things to Do at 4.48", "Woman.Appetites", "Border States" and "Present Absentee".
