Proposed lift installation at Hung Hom footbridge gazetted

     The Government published in the Gazette today (December 12) the proposed installation of two lifts at a footbridge (No. KF102) across Hung Hom South Road near Hung Ling Street and Whampoa Street. The works are part of the Universal Accessibility Programme.

     The proposed works are set out in the Annex. The plan and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

Central and Western District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,
Unit 5, G/F, The Center,
99 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong

Kowloon City District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,
LG/F, Kowloon City Government Offices,
42 Bailey Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon

District Lands Office,
Kowloon East and Kowloon West,
10/F, Yau Ma Tei Carpark Building,
250 Shanghai Street, Kowloon

     The gazette notice and location plan will be available at
www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm .

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before February 10, 2015.
