The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the visiting Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) delegation led by the Executive Director of the Alternative Investments Department of ADIA, HE Khalifa Matar Almheiri, at Government House this afternoon (December 11) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr Leung said that Hong Kong embraces the advantages of being an international financial and trade centre that can offer an excellent gateway for enterprises around the world to access the Asia-Pacific market.
Mr Leung encouraged more international financial institutions to establish businesses in Hong Kong, and leverage on the city's quality financial platform as well as its unique role as a super-connector between the Mainland and other parts of the world to tap into the investment opportunities in the Mainland and Asia.
