Police today (December 5) appealed to the public for information on a fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom on December 2 in which a 19-year-old man died.
About 1.50am on that day, the 19-year-old man was reportedly knocked down by a white private car on the eastbound lane of Chatham Road North near Baker Street in Hung Hom. The private car left the scene after the accident.
Sustaining serious injuries to his head and limbs, the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 11.01am today.
Active investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are underway.
