Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tin Sum this afternoon (December 3) in which a 49-year-old man was killed.
At about 1.15pm, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 47-year-old man was travelling along northbound Tai Wai Road. The 49-year-old man reportedly hit on the LGV's body when it was reaching near 24-26 Tai Wai Road.
The man sustained serious head injury and was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state where he was certified dead at 1.48pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are underway.
