HKMA's update on operation of banking system and financial market

The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority:
According to the reports to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) from banks as at 8am today (November 25), one branch of one bank was affected and temporarily closed today. In addition, one branch of one bank would shorten their business hours today. The HKMA has requested banks to resume normal services as soon as circumstances permit. Customers should pay attention to the relevant banks' announcements regarding affected branches and ATMs. The HKMA will also publish on its website relevant updates from time to time.
