Police are investigating a traffic accident in Pat Heung today (November 15) in which an 18-year-old man died.
About 2.20pm, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 27-year-old man was travelling along Kam Sheung Road towards Yuen Long. When approaching near Kat Hing Wai, it reportedly knocked down the 18-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 3.20pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are underway.
