The Government has proposed to carry out road works at Gage Street, Gutzlaff Street, Staveley Street, Peel Street, Graham Street and Cochrane Street in Central District, in order to facilitate the implementation of Urban Renewal Authority's redevelopment in the district.
The suggested works are gazetted today (November 14) and set out in the Annex. The plan and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:
Central and Western District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,
Unit 5, G/F, The Center,
99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong
District Lands Office,
Hong Kong West and South,
20/F, Southorn Centre
130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
The gazette notice and location plan will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm.
Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong on or before January 13, 2015.
