HKMA's update on the operation of the banking system and financial market

The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority:
According to the reports to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) from banks as at 8am today (November 11), all previously affected bank branches have resumed operation. One branch of one bank would shorten its business hours today. The HKMA has requested banks to resume normal services as soon as circumstances permit. Customers should pay attention to the relevant banks' announcements regarding affected branches and ATMs. The HKMA will also publish on its website relevant updates from time to time.
