Police urge protestors in Admiralty to desist from acts endangering public order

     Police urge the protestors presently gathering on the footbridge connecting the Admiralty Centre and Central Government Offices (November 8) to remain calm and restrained. They should express their views in a peaceful and rational manner and desist from acts that endangering public order.

     At about 7pm, some protestors gathered and placed mills barriers on the footbridge in an attempt to block the access to the Central Government Offices. Police took actions immediately and removed the mills barriers. Police condemned such acts of the protestors which disrupted public order.

     Police appeal to the protestors at scene to adhere to the instructions of Police officers. Police reiterate that any acts endangering public order and public safety will not be tolerated. The Hong Kong community regard that individuals should express their views in a rational and peaceful manner.
