Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi this morning (November 8) in which a 60-year-old man was killed.
About 7.45am, a medium goods vehicle driven by the 60-year-old man was traveling along Tsing Sha Highway towards Shatin. When reaching near the sound barrier, it reportedly lost control and rammed into a kerb.
The driver, sustaining no superficial injury but was in unconscious state, rushed to the Princess Margaret Hospital where he was certified dead at 8.24am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South, are underway.
