Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan this morning (November 7) in which a 27-year-old man was killed.
About 9.30am, a motorcycle driven by the 27-year-old man and a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 72-year-old man were travelling along Yeung Uk Road towards Texaco Road. When approaching Luen Yan Street, the two vehicles reportedly collided.
Sustaining serious head injury, the motorcyclist was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in unconscious state, and was certified dead at 10.30am.
The PLB driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are underway.
