The Town Planning Board (the Board) today (October 31) announced amendments to the approved Ping Shan Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of a site to the west of Long Ping Estate in Wang Chau from "Green Belt" to "Residential (Group A) 4" ("R(A)4") for public housing development. Building height and plot ratio restrictions are stipulated for the "R(A)4" zone. The Notes and the Explanatory Statement of the OZP are also amended to mainly reflect the above amendments.
The draft Ping Shan OZP No. S/YL-PS/15 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tuen Mun and Yuen Long West District Planning Office, the Yuen Long District Office and the Ping Shan Rural Committee.
Any person may make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before December 31. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Ping Shan OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
