Proposed footbridge connecting Haw Par Mansion and new services block gazetted

     The Government has proposed to construct a footbridge for providing barrier-free access to Haw Par Mansion from street level via the new services block in Tai Hang. The proposal was published in the Gazette today (October 31).

     The suggested works are set out in the Annex. The plan and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

Public Enquiry Service Centre,

99 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong

Wan Chai District Office,
Public Enquiry Service Centre,

     The gazette notice and location plan will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm.¡@

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before December 30, 2014.
