The Water Supplies Department today (October 22) announced that due to water mains alteration work, the flushing water supply to some areas in Cheung Sha Wan, Sham Shui Po, Tai Kok Tsui, Lai Chi Kok, Shek Kip Mei, Prince Edward, Kowloon Tong and Stonecutters Island will be suspended from 8.30am to 7pm on October 24.
The suspension will affect Hoi Fai Road, the New Yau Ma Tei Typhoon Shelter, Lai Cheung Road, Ferry Street, Tong Mi Road, Prince Edward Road West, Lai Chi Kok Road, Bute Street, the East Rail Line (from Mong Kok East Station to Kowloon Tong Station), HKPC Building, Tat Chee Avenue, Cornwall Street, Waterloo Road, the Hong Kong Baptist University, Broadcast Drive, Chuk Yuen Road, Lung Cheung Road, Lion Rock Tunnel Road, the Lion Rock High Level No.2 Fresh Water Primary Service Reservoir, Lung Yan Road, Yin Ping Road, Tai Po Road, Lilac Street, Po On Road, Wing Hong Street, Nam Wah Catholic Secondary School, Ching Cheung Road, Castle Peak Road, Kwai Chung Road, Lai Wan Road, the West Rail Line (Mei Foo Station), Tsing Kwai Highway, West Kowloon Highway, Hing Wah Street West and Ngong Shung Road.
