The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, extended congratulations to Hong Kong athletes for winning gold medals in five events of the Incheon 2014 Asian Para Games today (October 21). The five events are: Combi Latin Class 1 (Ma Wah-keung and Ho Hei-man); Men's Sabre Individual- Category B (Tam Chik-sum); Table Tennis Women's TT11 Singles (Wong Ka-man), Men's Sabre Team (Chan Wing-kin, Cheong Meng-chai and Tam Chik-sum) and Lawn Bowls Men's B8 Singles (Chiu Chung-lun).
"They have showcased the spirit of striving for excellence. Hong Kong people are all deeply moved by their performances and appreciate their efforts," Mr Leung said.
He hoped that the Hong Kong delegation will continue to strive for great results in the coming events.
