This press release summarises the Communications Authority (CA)'s decision following its 36th meeting in October 2014:
The CA considered a complaint against the television programmes "News Roundup" and "A Closer Look" broadcast on the Jade and iNews Channels of Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) on January 21 and 22, 2014 respectively. The CA decided that TVB should be strongly advised to observe more closely the relevant provisions in the Generic Code of Practice on Television Programme Standards.
