Police urge protesters on Lung Wo Road to exercise restraint
************************************************************

Police appeal to the protesters currently (October 17) gathering on Lung Wo Road to exercise restraint and not to commit any act endangering public safety.

Police noticed that some protesters had set up mills barriers on the planting beds along westbound Lung Wo Road near Tim Mei Avenue. It will endanger the safety of road users and the public should these mills barriers fall. Police appeal to the protesters to stop such acts endangering public safety.

Police reiterate that the Hong Kong community regard that the public should express their views in a rational and peaceful manner. Police will not tolerate any acts endangering public order and public safety, and will take decisive enforcement actions against any illegal behaviours.
