Additional performance of darkly humorous theatre production "Black Monday" (with photo)

     The theatre production "Black Monday" (in Cantonese), one of the stage programmes of the New Vision Arts Festival (NVAF), will have one additional performance in response to overwhelming demand. Details are as follows:

     Produced by O Theatre Workshop, the theatre production features six darkly humorous interwoven tales about handling the harshness of reality. Dramatist Candace Chong and director Olivia Yan have teamed up again to reveal the negative influence of making a living and to examine our attitudes towards life. The satire also features creative actors including Tyson Chak, Chu Pak-him, Abby Chan, Rosa Maria Velasco, Eric Tang, Huen Tin-yeung, Onnie Chan, Tree Kwok and Jing Wong@peoplemountainpeoplesea.

     Tickets for the additional performance are available at URBTIX now. Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients. Booking discounts of up to 20 per cent are available for full-price tickets of NVAF performing arts programmes.

     The NVAF, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, will run from October 16 to November 16, showcasing an array of innovative and outstanding performances that cross cultural and disciplinary borders.
