Police will implement special traffic arrangements between 4pm and 11.59pm daily on October 10 (Friday) and October 12 (Sunday) to facilitate the holding of a public event on Hong Kong Island.
A. Road closure
- Lin Fa Kung Street West;
- Lily Street;
- Wun Sha Street;
- Ormsby Street;
- Brown Street;
- Warren Street;
- Jones Street;
- Lai Yin Street;
- School Street;
- King Street;
- Shepherd Street; and
- Sun Chun Street.
B. Traffic diversion
- Vehicles are only allowed to travel along westbound Tung Lo Wan Road and cannot turn left to Wun Sha Street, Brown Street or Jones street; and
- Traffic along eastbound Tung Lo Wan Road cannot turn right to Wun Sha Street and must make a U-turn at Lin Fa Kung Street West.
All parking spaces along the closed roads and Tung Lo Wan Road will be suspended.
Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
