"Here is an Education Bureau special announcement concerning schools:
The Education Bureau has announced that classes of all primary schools and special schools in the Wan Chai and Central and Western districts will resume tomorrow (October 7), while classes of kindergartens in the two districts will remain suspended tomorrow.
The Education Bureau (EDB) reminded students studying in secondary schools, primary schools and special schools in the Wan Chai and Central and Western districts as well as their parents to pay attention to television and radio broadcasts, especially traffic news, before going to school tomorrow. They should get hold of traffic diversion information in advance and leave home early if necessary. Schools should exercise flexibility when handling students' lateness or absence due to traffic problems.
Kindergartens in the Wan Chai and Central and Western districts should remain open and arrange for staff to look after any students who might arrive.

The Education Bureau will make further announcements if necessary."
