Due to the chaotic situation and confrontations occurred in Mong Kok yesterday, and there is currently (October 4) a large crowd of people gathering at the location, Police appeal to members of the public to stay calm and exercise restraint, express their views in a peaceful and rational manner, and leave orderly and peacefully.
Police reiterate that we respect the public's freedoms of expression, speech and assembly. Members of the public should also comply with the laws of Hong Kong and social order when expressing their views.
